Company-Paid Insurance Premiums As a benefit to our employees, PAROS pays the majority of the premiums associated with employees' insurance benefits. Medical Insurance PAROS provides a comprehensive Major Medical Plan. The plan is a PPO with no deductible for in-network care and a minimal for eligible out-of-network care. Doctor?s visits are subject to minimal co-pay. The establishment of a maximum out-of-pocket limit further protects PAROS' employees. Life Insurance All employees receive life insurance coverage (subject to insurance company approval) for two-times their base salary to a prescribed maximum of $50,000. Short-Term Disability Insurance PAROS provides a short-term disability plan that essentially pays 60% of gross income for a qualified disability after the initial waiting period. Long-Term Disability Insurance PAROS provides a long-term disability plan that essentially pays 60% of gross income for a qualified disability after the initial waiting period. POP 125 Plan PAROS maintains a qualified POP 125 plan that allows employees to pay their portion of the insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars. Prescription Drug Plan There is a prescription drug card for use at participating pharmacies. There are different co-pays for generic and name brand drugs. Dental Insurance Traditional insurance with 100% payment for preventive care. Additional coverage includes restorative and orthodontia, both subject to deductibles and limitations. Personal Time Off (PTO) PTO is a bank of hours that you earn to be used for all events in which you take time off work and want to be paid. Therefore, PTO is used for Holidays – Paros or Client, doctor appointments, time off for illness, time off for dependant care, time off for vacation, etc. All regular full-time employees of PAROS receive PTO with full pay. How Is My PTO Determined? PTO is allocated on the basis of continuous service with the company. Your first calendar year begins the January following your hire date. PTO does not accrue while on disability leave or leave of absence. Upon termination, no PTO will be payable if you have not reached your one year anniversary with the company. The table below indicates how to determine your PTO time: | Years of Service | Days of PTO | | First Partial Year | 1.833 day for each full month worked (to a maximum of 23 days). | | Calendar Years 1 through 5 | 1.833 per full month worked (to a maximum of 23 days). | | Years 6 through 9 | 2.25 days per full month worked (to a maximum of 28 days). | | Years 10 and on | 2.667 days per full month worked (to a maximum of 33 days). | Funeral (Bereavement) Leave PAROS' consultants are entitled to three days leave with pay for bereavement associated with immediate family and one day for extended family. Pay Periods PAROS pays employees twice a month; on the 15th and the last business day of the month. Direct Deposit Payroll PAROS , as a convenience to our employees, offers direct deposit of your paycheck into most major local banks. Tel-Ohio Credit Union Membership Participation in this recognized credit union plan affords our employees unique opportunities for savings and loan programs as well as special membership programs. Revenue Sharing Plan PAROS believes in sharing any additional revenues generated by its consultants. Therefore we have developed a Revenue Sharing Program whereby our consultants are compensated according to the revenue generated above the monthly goals. Profit Sharing Plan On an annual basis, PAROS reviews its cash position, funding requirements for the following year and profits. Based upon these and other factors, if appropriate for the business conditions and plans, PAROS, at its discretion, makes a contribution to a Qualified Profit Sharing Plan. The contribution is distributed to the accounts of all qualified participants based upon each person?s income as a percentage of the total income represented by all participants. This plan is subject to a vesting schedule. Eligibility is immediate. Education and Training On an individualized basis, PAROS provides our consultants with business and technical training to coincide with each individual?s career plan. Additionally, we offer a number of CBT courses. And our Education Committee offers custom courses throughout each year. Tuition Reimbursement Plan PAROS believes in the personal development of our consultants and we therefore encourage advanced education. As such, PAROS offers a tuition reimbursement plan, which pays full tuition for all courses passed with a grade of "C" or better. There is an annual maximum limit applied to tuition reimbursement. Paid Certification Testing PAROS recognizes the importance of professional certification in certain disciplines. Therefore, PAROS pays all costs associated with certification testing with prior management approval. Certification Bonus Recognizing the extra effort that a consultant must invest to become certified, PAROS offers a bonus for each test passed on the first or second attempt. Parking Reimbursement PAROS reimburses consultants for parking expenses incurred to a monthly maximum. Mileage Reimbursement PAROS reimburses consultants for all miles over 50 driven in the course of business in a given day. Client Entertainment Reimbursement PAROS recognizes that on occasion a consultant may be called upon to entertain clients. When this occurs, PAROS reimburses consultants for expenses they incur. Business Travel Accident Insurance In the event of a death or dismemberment while on PAROS business related travel, life insurance benefits are doubled. Employee Referral Bonus We offer our consultants an employee referral bonus for each consultant who they recommend and we ultimately hire. Anniversary Awards Loyalty and commitment are important factors in our corporate culture. As such, PAROS wishes to recognize its consultants for their continued support and commitment to PAROS. We therefore have put in place a special anniversary recognition and awards program for that purpose. Company-Sponsored Social Events Recognizing that our consultants? day-to-day activities place them in diverse locations, PAROS sponsors several social events throughout the year for consultants and guests. These events range from the annual company picnic and December holiday party to canoeing, bowling, museum tours and attendance at professional sporting events. Association Memberships All PAROS consultants are encouraged to participate in professional organizations. We believe that this affords our consultants another avenue for professional growth and education. PAROS will sponsor, with prior approval, association membership and associated meeting costs (such as meals) as a means of encouraging participation. |
